In order to protect the health and safety of all our students, staff, faculty, and community members, ASA DataFest @ OSU has been cancelled for 2020. We know this news is disappointing, especially to our student participants, but we believe it is the right thing to do given the university's current guidelines and recommendations regarding large campus events. We look forward to seeing most of you again at DataFest 2021.

The American Statistical Association (ASA) DataFest™ @ OSU is a collaborative competition for undergraduate students at The Ohio State University. Teams of 3-5 work together to tackle a data analysis challenge. Over the course of the Apri 3-5, 2020 weekend, teams will be asked to interpret, analyze, and draw insights from a data set provided by a large, national or international company. At the end of the weekend, teams present their analyses to a panel of judges. Prizes are awarded in multiple categories, including Best Visualization, Best Use of External Data, Best Insight, and Judge's Choice.
