Astronaut Scholarship 2024

Are you a highly motivated student with a commitment to STEM research? Consider applying to the Astronaut Scholarship!

Sophomores and juniors in STEM fields are eligible to apply. Competitive applicants must have a strong GPA, significant research experience(s), and the intention to pursue a PhD and research career. Recipients receive a $15,000 scholarship to help fund their undergraduate tuition and life-long membership to the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, providing them mentorship and other networking opportunities to help advance their careers.

On Tuesday, January 30th from 1:30-2:30 pm, the Undergraduate Fellowship Office is holding an information session for the Astronaut Scholarship for undergraduate students in their sophomore and junior year. We’ll discuss the objectives of the award, eligibility requirements, and application components. Participants will also engage in guided brainstorming processes to generate ideas for their application essays. The info session will be hybrid and participants can join us in Kuhn 201 or on Zoom. Veeam Software Endowed Scholarship in Data Analytics

Established June 3, 2016 with a gift from Mr. Ratmir V. Timashev and the Veeam Software Corporation, the Veeam Software Endowed Scholarship in Data Analytics provides scholarship awards to undergraduate students enrolled in the Data Analytics major program.

This scholarship is transferable if the recipient changes campuses within OSU or changes majors. The scholarship is renewable for up to 8 semesters, as long as the recipient remains in good academic standing at the university.

To be considered for this award, students must be admitted to the Data Analytics major and complete an application. Scholarship amounts vary depending on the recipient’s academic performance, professional goals, and financial need.

The 2023-2024 Veeam Scholarship application is now closed. The application for the 2024-2025 academic year will become available in February 2024.
