Elizabeth Gilbert Receives Research Fellowship

First year Data Analytics major Elizabeth Gilbert has been awarded a Summer Research Fellowship from Ohio State University’s Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry.  As part of her Fellowship, Elizabeth will be undertaking summer research with Professor Catherine Calder in the Department of Statistics and Professor Jodi Ford in the College of Nursing.  Elizabeth’s research project will involve the statistical analysis of data collected in a pilot study related to cortisol concentration in hair samples, a biomarker of physiological stress.  The research is part of a broader Adolescent Health and Development in Context Study.
