Brett Bejcek

Brett Bejcek, a graduating Data Analytics major, has been awarded a Data Science for Social Good Fellowship at the eScience Institute at the University of Washington.  The program, run in conjunction with Urban@UW and Microsoft, "brings together data and domain scientists to work on focused, collaborative projects that are designed to impact public policy for societal benefit."  Brett will be one of "sixteen DSSG Student Fellows [who were] selected to work with academic researchers, data scientists, and public stakeholder groups on data-intensive research projects.  This year’s projects will aim to extract and understand valuable, actionable information from data in urban topic areas such as: public health, sustainable urban planning, crime prevention, education, transportation, and social justice." After completing the fellowship, Brett will join PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Data Analytics Consultant on PwC's Advisory Data Analytics team.

Congratulations Brett!
